Our portfolio spans mining, healthcare, solar, engineering, servicing, biotech, government and fintech. That range is deliberate. The reconciliation problem in a two-billion-dollar maintenance budget and the reconciliation problem in a multilingual expense ledger are the same problem wearing different clothes, and having seen both makes us faster at each.

How we work
Most engagements start the same way: someone has a spreadsheet that has outgrown itself. It is reconciled by hand, understood by two people, and load-bearing for a decision worth millions. Our first job is usually not to build anything — it is to work out what that spreadsheet is actually asserting, and whether it is right.
From there we build the governed version: modelled properly, tied back to source, tested on every deployment, and presented so the exceptions surface without anyone having to go looking. Then we hand it over in a state where the client's own team can extend it.

Data Miners is based in Perth, Western Australia, and works with clients across Australia and internationally. Our engineering experience spans more than two decades across machine learning, natural language processing, image processing, algorithmic trading and large-scale enterprise analytics.
